Dance Company
Dance
Company is a unique company of local dance teachers and college students
who have chosen career paths other than dance, but who still desire the opportunity
to express their passion for dance through performance at corporate events,
festivals and concerts. Dance Company members boast extensive and diverse
training from across the country.
Dance Company creates and produce artistic
works of modern jazz, hip
hop, tap and other disciplines of dance.
- Each dance
routine is usually 3 - 5 minutes in length.
- Dancers
are beautifully costumed according to theme or setting.
- Dance troupe
can be as small as 3 dancers or as large as 16 dancers.
- A minimum
of one hour on-site rehearsal is required (with S&L technicians,
if applicable).
- An unobstructed,
sturdy stage or performance area is required. It must be at
least 20'x30' for entire company performances (20'x30' for smaller
groups).
- A secure,
private dressing area close to stage is required for costume
changes.
- Non-performance
appearances/duties can also include acting as hostesses, greeters,
ushers, etc.
